Thus, the first two positions in the ranking of the regions did not change, in
Ivano-Frankivsk region the rating increased on five positions.
In Zakarpattia region partial indexes are the highest by five of the thirteen
indicators: proportion of arable land in the square of farmland, forest area, rate of
natural population growth, land return and the formation of industrial toxic waste. In
the Volyn (2nd place), Kyiv (9th place) and Cherkassy (10th place) regions the partial
indicators is the highest by the three indicators. In Ivano-Frankivsk region, which in
the ranking took third place, the 9 of 13 partial indicators have the meaning above 0,6.
The last three places in the ranking took Donetsk, Zaporizhia and Lugansk
regions. The main reasons for such low indicators, common for all these regions, - are
the high volumes of polluted water into surface waters and emissions of harmful
substances into the atmosphere. In addition, in Zaporizhia region there is the lowest
forest area and land productivity, in Lugansk region – is the lowest partial indicators
of agricultural production per 100 hectares and inter-regional migration; in Donetsk
region – is the lowest volume of agricultural production per capita. In general, the gap
between the highest and the lowest generalized indicator of the agricultural land use
sustainability development assess was 0,403 (2,2 times).
CONCLUSION
Summarizing the conducted analysis of environmental land use we can make the
following conclusions:
1.
The problem of preservation and increasing of soil fertility is extremely
unsatisfactory due to a sharp decline in the introduction of organic fertilizers, which
will lead to a decrease in the yield of agricultural crops;
2.
The sanitary-chemical state of soils is practically not improved, which shows
their high pollution with various chemical substances, whose neutralization is carried
out very slowly by nature;
3.
The reclamation of disturbed lands is unsatisfactory, which does not allow
for their productive use;
