At the same time, there was a clear tendency to reduce the energy supply
indicator per 100 hectares of farmland. Since 2000, the indicator has been constantly
decreasing: if in 2000 the indicator was 254.4 kW per 100 hectare, in 2015 it was 115.3
kW, that is, it decreased by 54.7 %.
The general economic indicator of the effectiveness of land use is the level of
profitability. The level of profitability of agricultural enterprises, as well as the
production of crop and livestock production varied significantly in the period from
1990 to 2015, (Fig. 17). In 2015, the profitability of agricultural enterprises was 43.1
%, which is 0.5%. more than in 1990. From 1996 to 2000, damage was received. There
was no constant trend, as the figure grew and decreased, but the 1990 level in twenty-
six years was reached and exceeded only in 1992-1994 and 2015.
A similar situation was observed with the dynamics of the profitability of crop
and livestock production, although the actual profitability of livestock production was
lower than crop production. Thus, in 1990, the profitability of plant production was
98.3%, and livestock production was 22.2 %, or 4.4 times less. The lowest level of
profitability of crop production during 2000-2015 years was recorded in 1998 (-3.3 %),
while in the livestock sector losses were in all years from 1995 to 2004, as well as in
2006 and 2007.
