implementation of the appropriate measures for achievement sustainable development
goals.
Due to the absence of the officially approved procedure of monitoring and
evaluating the sustainability of agricultural land use regions of Ukraine, we propose to
conduct such monitoring on the base of the developed methodology [2], with the
necessary modifications, that meet the sustainable development goals of Ukraine in
2015-2030.
It should also be noted that recent studies of the indication of the sustainability of
agricultural land use in Ukraine, according to different methodological approaches,
date back to 2005 and 2009. The data require update and unified approach to the
construction of the model: the opportunity to monitor the development of land use; to
determine the level of its sustainability and the indication of this process in time and
dynamics; to monitor the fulfillment of the relevant tasks of achieving the goals of
sustainable development in Ukraine during 2016-2030 years.
Methodology and methods. Managing the process of sustainable development
requires the development of criteria and indicators of sustainable development. Taking
into account world experience and domestic research on the evaluation of agricultural
land use, we substantiated the development of three methodological approaches:
1) construction of an aggregate indicator, on the basis of which one can judge the
degree of stability of land use at the macro level;
2) construction of a system of indicators, each of which reflects some aspects of
sustainable development of land use at macro- and meso-levels;
3) construction of an integral indicator for comparing the stability of land use of rural
areas or regions of Ukraine.
We developed two indicators as an integral indicator of sustainable land use in
Ukraine (at the macro level) by analogy with the green GDP:
1) The basic integral indicator of sustainable land use development for
comparisons at macro- and meso-levels:
