PRODUCTIVITY INCREASE OF MULTISERVICE DUPLEX SYSTEM
USING THE DVB-T2 STANDARD
Introduction. Wireless broadband networks have gained rapid spread today [1].
Very relevant is a further development of the information transmission fundamental
theory, as well as advanced signal processing and transformation methods on the OSI
physical and data link layers, such as antinoise coding and modulation [2].
DVB (Digital Video Broadcasting) is the term that unites digital television
standards, developed and launched by the European Community and DVB
organizations in the early 90-ies of last century [3-4]. DVB-T2 standard (Digital Video
Broadcasting – Terrestrial 2nd generation) has many advantages over DVB-T, the first
one. This allows streaming of SD, HD and other signals of high and different definition,
with significant savings of about 40% channel capacity.
The research work aim is to identify the features of DVB-T2 television
broadcasting standard, which can be used in multiservice duplex communication line,
and to provide suggestions for improving multiservice duplex communication line
productivity when transmitting multi-media data.
The research work objective is to study the impact of information transformation
steps that are used in DVB-T2 to the productivity of communication lines.
The research work subject is the use of signal-code sequences in the high speed
multiservice duplex communication links.
